To help you find universities, draft applications, and manage your visa process, TeestaAI collects the information you give us directly — your name, email, academic records, test scores, budget, and documents you upload (transcripts, passports, financial statements, and similar files) — plus information generated as you use the product, such as email correspondence you connect, roadmap progress, and notes.
2. How we use it
We use your data to power the AI agent: matching you with universities, drafting applications and emails on your behalf, tracking deadlines, and answering your questions. We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use your documents to train models for other users.
3. Email and document access
If you connect an email account or upload documents, TeestaAI accesses only what's needed to read university correspondence, draft replies, and extract information for your applications. You can disconnect email access or delete uploaded documents at any time from your account settings.
4. Data sharing
We share data with the universities and agencies you choose to apply to or work with, and with service providers (such as cloud hosting and email delivery) strictly to operate the product. We do not share your data with advertisers.
5. Data retention & deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us — we'll remove it within 30 days, except where we're required to retain records for legal or regulatory reasons.
6. Security
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to student records is restricted to authenticated sessions and, where you've explicitly authorized it, the agency or counselor working with you.
7. Your rights
